SF Double-Walled Storage Tank

Double-walled oil tanks refer to three types: SS storage tank, SF storage tank, and FF storage tank.

SF, fully named Steel-Reinforced Fiberglass Double-Walled Storage Tank, consists of a single-layer steel tank with an additional anti-seepage outer layer made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), forming a double-walled structure. There is an interstitial space between the inner steel tank and the outer FRP layer.

FF, fully named Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Double-Walled Tank, has both inner and outer layers made of fiberglass reinforced plastic, with an interstitial space in between.

Both types are equipped with a leak detection system that enables 24-hour continuous monitoring of the interstitial space. In the event of a leak occurring in either the inner or outer tank, the sensor of the leak detection system can detect the liquid level at the bottom of the interstitial space and trigger an alarm, ensuring the safe operation of the tank.
